I know, I know, I know. I am no certified trainer. However, based off of personal experience, I do know that HIIT is perfect if you hate running. It is perfect for burning those calories without feeling like you are going to die from exhaustion. I get on the treadmill and do a five-minute walking warmup and then I do a five-minute JOGGING warmup. Nothing major. Then, from there I do intervals of a one-minute sprint and a two-minute walk. I do this for 20 minutes starting with the one-minute sprint. How fast or slow you want to go is up to you! With HIIT your body burns calories even after you have finished working out. Now, go get your cardio on!!
